Project Intake & Portfolio
Operations leads with more project proposals than people to run them: score each one against its cost before the meeting, so the committee argues over numbers.
A proposal comes in with its estimate, and reviewers score it on impact, urgency and alignment against the cost and effort it needs. The committee decides, and a sponsor can never approve their own. Approved projects are followed through their milestones, owners are told when one slips, and the portfolio shows how much headroom is left, so the next proposal gets a number for an answer. With the other apps installed, an approved project commits its budget and a planned one goes to Resource Planning to be staffed.
