Most small HR teams keep the basics in a spreadsheet and the contracts in a drive folder, and nobody knows what somebody earned two years ago. Here each person has one record with role, contract, pay and documents, and a raise or promotion is added as a new entry rather than typed over. Starters and leavers get a checklist on a board, and the org chart comes from each person’s manager. If HiBob is on your list for the employee file, this covers that part on a core you own.
